STEAK AND EGGS
I cooked this the other morning for breakfast, my man said it was the best breakfast ever hahaha he may be biased but here is the recipe with my twist
I used a filet Mignon
When I make filet migon I have a full proof technique now, put some herbs and spices on the filet then pan fry it to seal the flavour then add some water to the pan and place a lid on the filet and turn down the heat- this slowly cooks the filet without overcooking it, because you do not want it chewy.
After a few minutes (depending how well done you want it) drain the water re add some olive oil and re cook the sides. Meanwhile cook some eggs how you like toast the baguette and voila steak and eggs.
Goes well with dijon mustard or BBQ sauce.
